Taking a clue from data findings by reputable market research
firm NPD, Microsoft is asserting that its indigenous Xbox One
has picked its position as the first being the best-selling
gaming console for last month. From the official statistics, the
Xbox One has impressively stolen of Sony’s PS4; this marks
four consecutive months that Xbox One has been leading
Sony’s PS4.
Globally and most particularly in Europe, the Xbox One ranked
the biggest sales for a gaming console for the month of
October, raking in massive sales in the US, the UK and even
Australia.
“Thanks to the passion of Xbox fans worldwide and their
continued excitement for Xbox One S, Xbox One was once
again the best-selling console in October in the U.S., U.K. and
Australia according to NPD Group and GfK Entertainment,”
Xbox’s marketing boss Mike Nichols expressed his profound
gratitude .
“Xbox One has been the best-selling console in the U.S. for the
past four months, and in the U.K. and Australia in each of the
last two months.”
