Etisalat 4G LTE is Now Active , Plus How to Check if Your Devices Supports it
Almost all Nigerian network providers has rolled-out their 4G,
now i'm pleased to announce to you that Etisalat 4G LTE is
Live & Active . Tell someone beside you congratulation
Initially, Ntel was the first to provide us 4G LTE, seeing it was
good, Mtn did the same. Glo hurriedly cooked up theirs, but it
wasn't compatible with a lot of peoples smartphone. Etisalat
gallantly launched its 4G today, though i've been seeing traces
of it for quite a while. But wait o, Airtel, where are you.
Simply turn on your 4G LTE enabled smartphones and scan
for Etisalat 4G LTE network if you're in Lagos. It will rollout to
other cities/states in no time. Another good news is that you
don't need to swap/change your sim before you rock Etisalat
4G, cool!
HOW TO CHECK IF YOUR PHONE SUPPORTS 4G
Android:
Simply navigate to settings -> Network settings -> mobile
network. You'll see a dropdown menu of mobile standards
such as 2G, 3G or LTE (4G). If 4G or LTE is not in the list,
then your smartphone doesn't support the standard.
iPhone:
Go to settings -> General -> cellular -> Enable 4G LTE.
Windows:
Still on settings, navigate to Celluar + Sim -> Highest
connection speed and check if LTE is part of the options.
Blackberry:
Kindly go to settings -> Network and Connection -> Mobile
Network -> Network mode and you’ll see 4G & 3G & 2G.
Please note; it's not.available on Blackberry Q5 and below.
